Welcome to the inaugural post of the Montgomery Antiques & Interiors blog. I am thrilled you have found us, and even more thrilled if you choose to follow our posts! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tiffany, and I am the author of this blog. I am a graduate of the Upholstery Career Professional Program of Custom Home Furnishings Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Along with my passion for upholstery, I enjoy learning about antique furniture and love learning new ways to use fine pieces from the past in new designs. I also confess that I am in love with fabric. I say confess because it is a serious addiction!
One thing you must know about me, I love to learn. I have had a love for antiques as far back as I can remember. However, when I became involved with antiques in my career, I realized there is so much out there for me to learn. That is the driving force for this blog, my desire to learn and pass along what I learn to you! I consider myself a student, a student of all of the interesting people I work with and meet at MAI. I am very fortunate to work with such talented and knowledgeable people. Our dealers carry a life-long knowledge in their specific niche within the field of antique furniture and interior design.
I want this blog to be informative. I want you to learn something new every time you visit; therefore, I plan to keep fresh content of my interviews with our dealers, along with any new and exciting things I come across in the field of antiques.
So come along with me on this journey, as we learn as much as we can about antique furniture and its use in design. I can’t wait to see what we learn!
